The Vineyard in California
It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station.
He was wearing a camouflage jacket and was on his way to work. “Why do I have
to work here?” The man said looking down at his old dog. The dogs name was
Kaiser and he was not a very good listener. He was too busy looking at the cute
German Wire Hair in the car that passed by. “Don’t worry Kaiser, we will get a
bigger place somehow…maybe I will find a rich woman some day and buy a nice
place in the middle of California. Maybe on a vineyard, a vineyard would be nice.
You could have lots of space to run and…” “Get over here Greg!” Roared his boss.
“We got work to do!” “I’ll be right there!” He ran into the building right next
to the substation. He worked on the trains every day. Greg did

not get much money for it, about $25,000 a year. He ran upstairs and put Kaiser
into his office and started on his work for the day.
into his office and started on his work for the day.
When the clock hit 9 pm. Greg grabbed Kaisers leash and
sprinted out of his office. Once he crossed the road he went into his two-person
apartment, got some cheese balls and went to his couch and watched some HGTV.
Kaiser was snoring and sleeping on his back. He was dreaming about that other
German wired haired pointer he had seen earlier that day.
The next morning Greg went to work and found his boss waiting for him in his
office. This can’t be good…he thought to himself. “ Good morning Greg “ his boss
said “You have been lacking this whole year, and guess what Greg? Your fired!” Gregs boss yelled and walked out of his office, and then turned back, “You have one week to get all your junk out of this office!” He yelped.

Two months later
“Come on Kaiser…say goodbye to our old home. I lost my job, and I need to move in with my family in California.” Now the clock hit 1 o’clock and Greg was sitting on a plane worried about Kaiser, he was trapped underneath all the passengers, trapped in a cage, not knowing were the plane would take him. “ It’s a fresh start, I can start all over and even be closer to my family. “ Greg said to himself, waiting for the plane to take off. I will work at my parents vineyard, and hopefully get enough money for my own place in California. But I have to promis my self to always be a packer fan.

That’s just what greg did. He started a new life in California and worked with making wine. After three years, Greg got enough money to move out and buy his own place for himself and Kaiser. He was living his Dream. He knew Kaiser was too!
