Christmas

It is not going to be a very fun Christmas for me this year. Normally my family and I go up north to visit my cousins, aunts, and uncles for a couple of days. This year we are only going up north for one day! But the good thing is that the day night we leave my church has the annual Christmas program. It is were kids that are in kindergarten through 8th grade have to sing songs in front of our church and memorize lines. I am so happy I don’t have to do it this year! We are going to a Christmas service up north with my Aunt and Uncle.
There is only one type of food I like that our family eats around Christmas and Thanksgiving time. That one thing is called Lefsa. Lefsa is a Norwegian desert. You take a soft potato shell, spread butter over the top of it, and then sprinkle sugar on the butter and roll it up. It is really good! Everyone should try Lefsa sometime in their life.
My mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said I wanted money to save up for a new phone. My mom told me I was no fun and made me make a list the night before Black Friday. I put Money, Abercrombie jeans, shoes, a cheese head, and a Green Bay Packer Sweatshirt with Bears vs. Packers ticket in the pocket on my list.
Although Christmas wont be as fun this year I will still have lots of fun on the day I spend up north playing the game spoons and Sequence with my family, eating Lefsa, and hopefully wearing a new Green Bay packer sweatshirt!
