I love Mr. Seebock. He is my favorite substitute teacher. We found out that he was a Magician. His last tour was in ether South or North Carolina! I got a picture with him in the Library. He was so cool. At first I thought that he looked like Beethoven, or some guy from music. I'm really sad that he wont be a substitute again. I think that every school needs a teacher like him. I really hope I see him again, hes so awesome.
I love how when you take pictures with him, everyone acting weird and hes actually smiling!

Anne Frank book response
Anne Frank Book Response
Have you ever felt like nothing can get worse in your life? Maybe you lost a big game, or lost a relative or friend in your life. This is what happens in the story, Anne Frank. She never gives up in life, and always looks on the bright side of things, even when there isn’t a lot of sunshine. She still believes that everyone is good at heart, even the people who kept her in hiding for two years.
Anne is my favorite character. While she has no self a seam, she keeps on fighting for freedom. But sadly, it never comes. Anne frank should be a role model to everyone. She gets back up and keeps on fighting, while she has no support from her family. This is a story of faith and courage from one girl.
While you think of Anne, you should always think about the people who are fighting for you right now. They risk your lives for you. You should be grateful for what you have and never give up on anything, because if you really try, you will succeed. I think that Anne really did try, but life isn’t perfect or easy. Anne says in her journal, “Think of all the beauty that is still left around you, and be happy” I think that more people in this world really need to run on sayings like that…always find the beauty in something, not the bad.
Therefore, we should always remember the things that happen in other people’s lives, and also remember that a lot of people would die for the life you have. Never wish your life away, or wish that you were someone else, because you don’t know what they have been through. I will never forget this story, because it shows us that we have a great life, even when it seems like we have the worst.

Basketball, Wisconsin Dells Tourney
Last weekend, I went to the Wilderness. We went up for a basketball tournament. I drove up with my friend, Taylor. It was a lot of fun. When we first got there we found the rest of our friends and went swimming. My favorite part was the Wave pool. You watched your friends drowned and laugh at the same time. I might sound really mean, but it was really funny. I also went on the Hurricane. It was really fun. There were four people to a tube. I went with Taylor, Jenny, and someone else I can't remember. In the tournament, The Pewaukee Black placed 1st and the Pewaukee Red placed 2nd. That tells you a lot about Pewaukee! We had a lot of fun and I cant wait to go back next year.

Childhood memories
Childhood Memories
Do you remember when you were a little kid? You probably had a couple years that were the best parts of your life. For me it was when I was in the first or second grade. I was ether swimming in our pool, or playing basketball each summer. I had nothing to worry about, no tests, or no reports due. All I cared about was if I got to have macaroni and cheese that night, and nothing else. What I have learned over my whole seven years of life since I was just a little kid is to always live your life to the fullest.
When I was thinking of all the times my big brother dunked me when we were playing in the pool that morning, I couldn’t notice how fun it would be to climb our giant maple tree we had in our front yard. I couldn’t resist, so I went and climbed it. It was one of the most fun things I had done that summer until I saw my mothers jaw drop, as she saw me climbing that tree. She yelled and made me come down. My hair was full of sticky glue. It reminded me of the time I fell asleep with gum in my mouth the week before. Even though I had some minor bad memories as a child, they will never be strong enough to replace the good ones. I would go back to any of those bad days if I could, because it would just make me laugh. Always keep memories, and never let go of them. You should always live each day as if it were your last.
Another thing I will never forget is what things I would do with and for my brothers. I am the youngest with two older brothers. They could make me do anything. All they would have to say is, “I’ll give you a penny!” A penny meant a lot to me, and I would do anything for one. I would probably have about ten bucks if my brothers actually gave me the penny in the end. You should never forget those little things like that because as sad as it is, you will never be able to go back.
You should never wish your life away, whenever you’re exited for something that’s going to happen in the future, because before you know it, your life will be over. Never forget the memories you have and always live your life to the fullest.
Subjects(creative piece)
I very dislike Spanish class. Why do we have to learn it? We do not have to learn Spanish, but if you don't want to work at McDonalds for the rest of your life you will probably have to take Spanish for about 3 years. If you want to come to the United States for more than a year, I think you should have to learn English and use it outside of your home. That is just my opinion, I am sure a lot of people will disagree with me. I also am not a fan of Math, but it is very, very important.
I am not good at adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing integers.
Although I do not like a lot of classes, the one subject I love, is Gym. I love every part if gym besides learning about health!

I have lived a thousand years book response
Have you ever been trapped somewhere and you felt like there was no way out? In the story, I have lived a thousand years, by Livia Bitton-Jackson, a girl named Elli has been through it all, and comes even closer to her friends and family. Elli realizes that you can do anything when you really want it.
While fighting to stay alive along with her family, I really like the main character. Her name is Elli. She’s strong and determined. I also like the plot of the story. At the beginning she is a young girl, who is carefree and who loves life. But throughout the story, her personality changes.
At first, when I got this book, I thought it is going to be a typical holocaust predicament, but as I was about to finish the book, I realized how wrong I was. I realized that Elli has gone through a hard time as a young kid. Elli has such strong bravery. This book also helped me to think about the little things in life. This book gives you a little bit of depression but you will thank God for what you have.
Therefore, you should think about all the little things that happen in life, and just be thankful for what you have. Whenever life knocks you down, get back up and just shake it off. Everything happens for a reason.

Hatchet book response
Have you ever been camping before? You probably thought that it would be so fun to camp for a month or two. That is what Brian did in the book, Hatchet, by Gary Paulsen. He is stranded in the wilderness with barely anything to eat or shelter. Throughout the course of trying to survive, Brian discovers how lucky he is to have the family and life he has, while he is stranded in the Canadian woods for two months.
Canada is where Brians father lives. When Brian leaves to visit his father, his mother gives him a hatchet to use during his summer in the Canadian woods. It is something that he has throughout his whole journey, and really makes use of it. He uses it to start a fire, and to gain access to a survival pack, which gives him a chance if being rescued. The hatchet symbolizes the only constant object in Brian's entire adventure.
On the other hand, the Hatchet isn't the only very importaint tool that Brian uses, the plane also has a big role in the begining and end of the story. Brian's pilot meets his death in the plane when he has a heart attack and his body remains underwater in the plane, strapped into the seat. However, The dramatic eventual rescue only becomes possible because he finds a survival pack. A transmitter inside the survival pack lets Brian send a signal to the rescuers.
Throughout the book, Brian realizes that what he has in life might not be perfect, but it is a lot better than what some people have, and you should be grateful. In this story, Brian has been through a lot. He has turned into a better person, who never gives up, even when he was at the lowest point of his life.
