Marry Poppins

Marry Poppins Literary analysis

What would you do if you saw people drinking tea on the ceiling, or riding on a unicorn? This is what happened in "Mary Poppins" by P.L Travels. The world is a magical place and everyone is happy. It clearly shows by the characteristics, symbolism and plotline that of romance.

The Plotline falls into the romance section. The first nanny got sick of caring for the children and quits! Her magical replacement is practically perfect, Mary Poppins, who takes the children to a new fantasy world. She teaches them importence of caring for others. Marry poppins meats a chimney sweep, named Burt and falls in love. Jane and Michaels dad is a grumpy man. Marry poppins turns Mr. Banks around, and everything seems better than it really is.

The characteristics of marry poppins clearly falls into the category of romance. There is always music and dancing, and everyone is always happy. Marry poppins never does anything wrong, but is practically Perfect! She can even clean up a room whenever she wants, not even moving a muscle. There is no form of evil in this story. The two kids, Jane and Michael feel like they can accomplish anything with Marry Poppins around. The world of marry poppins is a magical place. It clearly shows by the characteristics that this movie is a romance.

There is also Romance symbolism. The story takes place in spring time, and there are always birds outside, singing to themselves. This story is usually in the morning or daytime. There are bright colors and there is a lot of flowers and nature. There is one scene with a lot of animals and colors! This story is like a fantasy version of real life.

This world is a magical place. It clearly shows by the characteristics, symbolism and plotline that this storie is a romance. It would be fun to have a nanny like Marry Poppins. Everything would become so much easier and more fun.

Christmas

It is not going to be a very fun Christmas for me this year. Normally my family and I go up north to visit my cousins, aunts, and uncles for a couple of days. This year we are only going up north for one day! But the good thing is that the day night we leave my church has the annual Christmas program. It is were kids that are in kindergarten through 8th grade have to sing songs in front of our church and memorize lines. I am so happy I don’t have to do it this year! We are going to a Christmas service up north with my Aunt and Uncle.
There is only one type of food I like that our family eats around Christmas and Thanksgiving time. That one thing is called Lefsa. Lefsa is a Norwegian desert. You take a soft potato shell, spread butter over the top of it, and then sprinkle sugar on the butter and roll it up. It is really good! Everyone should try Lefsa sometime in their life.
My mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said I wanted money to save up for a new phone. My mom told me I was no fun and made me make a list the night before Black Friday. I put Money, Abercrombie jeans, shoes, a cheese head, and a Green Bay Packer Sweatshirt with Bears vs. Packers ticket in the pocket on my list.
Although Christmas wont be as fun this year I will still have lots of fun on the day I spend up north playing the game spoons and Sequence with my family, eating Lefsa, and hopefully wearing a new Green Bay packer sweatshirt!
