Taylor Rajchel

There are so many things I can say about Taylor. She is so funny and is my best friend. When i think of her i think of many things. One thing is her always falling down the stairs. Another thing I think of is her nickname. Its Tay-bomb, or beast. But i like Tay-bomb better. It is a funny nick name. Taylor you would think is unusual sometimes but once you get to know her you figure out her sense of humor. She can get really mad at lots of things for no reason. You get used to that too. She is boy crazy sometimes. When I think of Taylor I sometimes think of the song Just the way You are. Taylor is normal in her own little way but if you don't know Taylor you have to meet her! You will grow to be really great friends.

Did you know that about 56,125,262 people died in World War Two? A young girl, named Annemarie has seen it happen. She is a Christian girl, escaping her home town, heading towards Sweden. She brings her friend Ellen who is Jewish, along. Together they do the impossible, and grow friendship along the way.

Just like Annemarie, there is another character in this story that I really like, his name is Peter and he is a member of the resistance. He visits the Johansens at nighttime, breaking the rules that the Nazis made to see them. Peter is my favorite character in this book. He is so brave, and will do anything to save others, even if he could get killed in the process. He has no family that we know of and the Germans killed his fiancĂ©, hitting her with a car. In the book, Peter Nelson is very serious and loving. He’s the guy who will never stop fighting for something that is right. He is determined to help the Jews and he doesn’t care what the Nazis say. Throughout the book Peter does the impossible and once he gets down to one of his lowest points, he gathers his thoughts and remembers what he’s fighting for, and gets back up.

The Star of David is mentioned several times during the book in Number the Stars. This is a symbol of the Jewish religion. Until the end of the war, Annemarie keeps the Star of David necklace that Ellen wears. Ellen’s necklace symbolizes Annemarie's devotion to her friend. Stars also appear in the psalm that her friend Peter reads before the voyage to Sweden, a free country. The star demonstrates great friendship towards others.

Although this story is depressing at times, it is very inspiring. Annemarie and Ellen fight through one of the most challenging times in history, and build up their friendship. I believe you can do anything with the help of your friends and family.

Authers Note

The story, Abby Gerits and Justin Bieber, was created by my 7th grade class. This story is definitely not true, nether Abby or I like Justin Bieber. I think this story would be very sad, and also really happy if it were to be true. The really sad thing would be that Abby killed herself and other Innocent people! Then the good part would probably be that Justin Beiber would get hit by a bottle and brick. I think a lot of prayers would be answered!
I hope our class can do this again because I really enjoyed it!

Abby Gerits and justin Bieber

One night, Abby Gerits went to the Justin Bieber concert. " OMG! He's so yummy and cute!" She screamed on the top of her lungs. "Baby, Baby, Baby!" Justin sang on stage, trying to act like hes so gangsta. But then someone threw a bottle with a brick in it and he died. He came back to life and then was nailed with a baseball bat. Then he died again, for sure. Abby was so sad that she killed five other people and then killed herself:(, she was laying in a puddle of blood when the police came. When the police came, they didn't really help, because they were on their break. She was already dead, so they tied a brick to her and threw her in the ocean, and she sunk to the bottom.

Green Bay packers

Referred to as the " Frozen tundra", Green Bay's Lambeau field is regarded by many to be the best stadium in the whole NFL. It was even named the #1 home field advantage of all time by NFL.com. What makes Lambeau field so amazing, besides the fact that the Packers play there, is the history and the fans. Two of the most famous coaches in sports are recognized here. Vince Lombardi, and Earl "Curly" Lambeau. Curly Lambeau won 6 championships with the Packers, a record that is still strong today. The superbowl trophy was even named after Vince Lombardi after he won the first two superbowls ever. Green Bay Packer fans are also what makes the experience of Lambeau so amazing. Packer fans tied for first with the best fans in the NFL in a recent ranking by ESPN. Packer fans are loyal, loud, and passionate about their team, and make pregame more fun than the actual game! Before game time you can catch the fans playing games and having tailgate parties. The combination of history, tailgating, and getting to watch the best team in all of sports makes Lambeau Field my most desired place to visit!

Snow Day!!

Yesterday was a snow day! We had snow drifts in front of my house that were taller than me! When i first woke up i ate breakfast. I had pancakes! They were amazing! Then I took my dog down to a creek in my neighborhood with my brother. Kaiser was drowning in snow! When he saw a bird he would try so hard to chase after it, but he was getting sucked down under the snow. After we came back from the creek I ate cheese-its and drank Cranberry Juice! My aunt is away and my grandma had a drift like 20 feet tall! It took us more than two hours too clean it up. Now my aunt is stuck in the Airport! After that i came home and ate supper with my family...we had pigs in a blanket...its discussing! After that me and my mom watched American Idol...It was a pretty good episode. Speaking of American idol, I really miss Simon and Paula!:( Anyway, i had a good snow day, and i hope we have another this year!

That is a picture of my dog! He sleeps like that!:P Hes such a cutie...but lets just say that's not the best picture of him!

Snow Day

I really hope its a snow day tomorrow! if it is i am going to sleep in and make a big breakfast. I will probably make pancakes, i hate eggs. If we don't have school i will go outside and take my dog to a creek in our neighborhood. My dogs name is Kaiser and he's ten years old. He loves going outside and swimming. After i take him for a walk i will probably watch a movie with Kaiser. I will drink hot cocoa and eat cheese-its. I will then go out and shovel:(. Even if i have to shovel i really hope for a snow day, it should be a lot of fun!
